Your clone may have the correct dialogues and appearance, but many quest updates triggered by Esbern will not be triggered by your clone. Therefore, when using the console with unique NPCs you should always avoid the placeatme command. For example, to move a missing NPC to your location, use:. If the NPC is not visible after those commands, then the character may have been disabled, so type:. If you would prefer to move your character to the location of an NPC instead of vice versa , you can instead use the command:.
There are four possible values for aggression. Together with the faction relationship combat modifier this governs whether the NPC initiates combat [1]. Morality determines whether or not an NPC will commit various crimes , and controls whether or not a follower will agree to do certain requested actions. There are four possible values for morality:.
To find him, players should travel southeast toward Riften, looking for a rocky hillside located between the tomb of Geirmund's Hall and Honeystrand cave. There, they'll find an NPC clothed in necromancer robes seemingly hard at work on bringing dead chickens back to life.
In fact, it seems as though he was pretty successful in that endeavor. If players get close enough to alert him of the Dragonborn's presence, he'll summon undead chickens to aid him and initiate combat. Fortunately, he's relatively easy to take out. There's some decent loot to be found around his reanimation site, as well, making it more worthwhile to seek out the Chicken Necromancer, although it's already a unique glimpse into the strange lore of many of Skyrim 's NPCs.
Unlike many of the other characters on this list, who don't play prominent roles in Skyrim 's main storylines and may actually go entirely unnoticed by a large chunk of players, Babette is an important character in Skyrim 's Dark Brotherhood questline. She can be found by either joining or destroying the Dark Brotherhood and seemingly spends the majority of her time within the Sanctuary.
Babette may look like a standard child in terms of appearances, but in reality, that's far from the truth. She was bitten by a vampire at the age of 10 and has subsequently lived for around years or so, using her innocent appearance to lure unsuspecting victims into her traps.
She's a master of alchemy and seemingly uses both her vampire abilities and her knowledge of poisons to do away with her victims. Babette can also appear as a random encounter out across Skyrim during the Dawnguard DLC's primary storyline. Hamelyn is one weird Skyrim NPC that players may not even notice. There's no option to interact with him; he merely attacks the Dragonborn as soon as he spots them.
His location, however, is part of the reason he's so odd. He lives underneath the Honningbrew Meadery just outside of Whiterun and will likely only be encountered if players choose to complete Skyrim 's Thieves Guild questline. To reach him, players will have to fight through hordes of skeevers in the rat tunnels beneath the building. Upon looting his body, however, players have the opportunity to learn quite a bit more about this unusual Skyrim NPC.
Hamelyn previously studied as an alchemist in the College of Winterhold but was expelled due to his irresponsible behavior. From there, he went on to Whiterun, where he was jailed and subsequently escaped from prison into the tunnels beneath the city. There, he spent his time conducting unusual research on the skeevers, which seemingly resulted in them gaining venomous abilities.
The Quicksilver Mine and Ironbreaker Mine are also both just around the corner, as is the hidden Dawnstar Sanctuary of the Dark Brotherhood, just a few steps away from the city itself. Falkreath is located almost in the exact opposite direction of Dawnstar in the south of Skyrim, slightly west, where the snow is less common.
The city is surrounded by a lush pine tree forest, and a few steps outside of its is the Dark Brotherhood sanctuary. It shares a border with the provinces of Hammerfell and Cyrodiil. Falkreath has only 20 inhabitants, which is understandable given its size. It's another smaller city, with no grand stone walls to fend off attackers or invaders. Hence, the Jarl only has a Longhouse rather than a palace. Markarth is found in the extreme southwest of Skyrim. One of the most visually stunning cities of the province, it's built into the mountain it hugs, with many of its facilities remnants of Dwemer architecture.
It also overlooks a small city and some of its houses carve deep into the mountains behind. Since Markarth is a bigger city, it's no surprise that it has an impressive 65 inhabitants, including those imprisoned and found in Cidhna Mine when the Dragonborn is also captured and imprisoned.
Morthal is one of those smaller cities that are sort of in the middle of everything, and not necessarily in a good way. The city is actually surrounded by marshes and a thick mist, which definitely makes it a fairly uninviting place to live in.
Despite this, 23 inhabitants still stay in this small city. Most of the buildings in Morthal are houses, with only the Moorside Inn and Thaumaturgist's Hut as points of interest. There's also a cemetery slightly behind the city, which becomes a central part of one of the quests involving the people of Morthal. Riften is a beautiful city perched on a lake in the southeast corner of Skyrim.
Most of the city is built on wooden and brick foundations, with an impressive dock that overlooks the lake.
